Buying online from a tradesman you do not know yet takes a little trust. Here is exactly what happens when you pay us, and what we never see.
This is the key point, and it is simple: we never see your card number. When you pay, the details are entered on the servers of our provider, PayPal, which has handled payments since 1998 and is licensed as a credit institution in Europe, supervised by the Luxembourg authority. All we receive is confirmation that the payment went through, and the amount.
In practice: even if our site were hacked tomorrow, there would be no banking data to steal. There is none.
Many people give up at the sight of the PayPal button, assuming they must create an account. They do not: card payment is offered directly, with no sign-up and no password to remember. PayPal is only the technical intermediary.
Every card payment goes through strong authentication, which you know as 3-D Secure: your bank asks you to confirm, through its app or with a code. It has been a European requirement since 2021, and it is your best protection: nobody can charge your card without also holding your phone.
The padlock in your browser is not decoration. Everything travelling between your computer and our site is encrypted (HTTPS), and our server now refuses any unencrypted connection: that is the HSTS setting, which stops your browser from even trying. If a site ever claims to be ours without the padlock, it is not.
A scam hides; a real business can be checked. Our details are public and verifiable:
For hardware orders from €200, for licences and for settling an invoice, bank transfer is accepted. Our details appear when you pay and are also emailed to you. The accounts are in the name of Vincent Bessey, sole trader operating under the name SOS Informatique: that is normal, and it is what appears on your invoice too.
We collect the minimum needed to deliver and invoice. Nothing is sold on, nothing goes to advertisers. Audience measurement only starts if you agree to it, and you can change your mind at any time. You have the right to see, correct or have deleted whatever we hold: just write to us.
In any doubt? Call us before paying. We would rather answer three questions on the phone than have you order reluctantly. And if anything on our site looks wrong to you, tell us: we want to know.

Bank card, CB, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal account and bank transfer.
