In a business, a computer breakdown is not an inconvenience: work has stopped. Our job is first of all to shorten that downtime.
A broken computer in a household means a spoiled evening. The same computer in a practice, a shop or a workshop means revenue stopping and customers waiting. That difference governs the whole way we work with small and medium businesses and professional practices in Lyon and the Rhône.
We start with a simple question: what is stopping work right now? The answer is not always the most visible fault. A machine out of action when another one is free matters less than a silent till printer on a Saturday morning.
So the priority goes to getting work moving again, even if that means a temporary solution - moving a user to another machine, connecting a printer directly, restoring a fallback access. The full repair comes afterwards, at a time that suits you.
Many situations are handled straight away by remote session, which removes the travel time. When someone has to be on site, we come to your premises.
The question that decides everything, on the day of a serious breakdown, is not “how long to repair” but “what is backed up, and since when”. We always check this, even when we are called about something else. A backup that runs but that nobody has ever tested is not a backup: it is an assumption. See our hosting and servers page for business solutions.
We work in two ways, and both are justified depending on the size of the organization.
On demand, when a fault occurs. It is the most common arrangement for small organizations of one to five machines, where the IT stays simple. You call, we come, you pay for the work.
As ongoing follow-up, for businesses whose work depends closely on their IT. The benefit is not only the rate: it is knowing the setup. A technician who already knows your server, your software and your habits diagnoses in ten minutes what would take an hour to discover. See our contact page to talk it over.
We reach machines holding your customers' data, accounting records, sometimes sensitive information. Our position is simple: we reach what the work requires, nothing more, and nothing leaves your premises without your explicit consent. If a workshop drop-off is necessary, you know what goes and what stays.
That is what changes everything in how we work. In a household, you can take the time to do things properly. In a business, you first restore, then do things properly. A clean reinstall at 3pm on a busy day is a bad technical decision, even if it is the right repair. We take that into account, and we always propose the schedule rather than imposing it.
Lyon and its metropolitan area, plus the whole Rhône: Villeurbanne, Caluire-et-Cuire, Écully, Tassin-la-Demi-Lune, Bron, Vénissieux, Saint-Priest, Villefranche-sur-Saône and the towns of the Beaujolais. The full list is on our towns we cover page.
It depends on the real urgency and on the nature of the fault. Many situations are handled remotely straight away; for an on-site visit, we give you a slot on the first call.
We handle the environment it runs in: the machine, the network, the database, access rights, backups. For configuring the software itself, the vendor remains the right contact, and we are happy to work alongside them.
No. One-off work is possible with no commitment. Ongoing follow-up is mainly worthwhile from a few machines upward, or when the business cannot afford to stop.
Isolate the machines from the network immediately, unplug any backups still connected and switch nothing else off before reaching us. Some of what is on the disks helps identify the family and sometimes recover the files.
