APG Unit

□ Parts/Components need to be removed in advance Printer Cover / Paper Support Assy / Upper Housing

□ Removal procedure

1. Remove the two screws taking care not to lose the gears, and remove the APG Unit.

• Screw : C.B.S. M3x6 (tightening torque: 7-9 kgf.cm) (No.1) (The numbers shown in the figure indicate the order of tightening the screws.)

2. Remove the Combination Gear (10, 15.2).

Lubrication is required. See the page given below for the lubrication information. Lubrication of APG Unit (p.117) Install the APG Unit following the procedure below. 1. Put a pin (thinner than 02mm) through the positioning holes of the Main Frame and the right PG Cam on the CR Shaft.

2. Put the pin through the positioning holes of the Spur gear 28.8 and the APG Unit.

3. Install the APG Unit to the Main Frame.

4. Check that the hooks ( ) are attached to the positioning holes of the Main Frame, then screw the APG Unit.
